In the sumer we are going to be visited by around 20 young people from Hungary. They come mostly from Telkibanya and the surrounding areas and are coming t us in the summer to experience Northern Ireland. The cool thing about this is that they are going to get to do loads of cool things like day trips, um, mmm, um, day trips (mind is blank) and other stuff. What I need from you guyys is to say, 'hey that sounds like an oppurtunity to meet someone from another country and experinece a little bit of what their life is like and show them a little bit of what my life is like'.
What I also need from you is to tell me whether or not you can be involved in this, if you can have a hungarian or two stay in your house and to say that you are free between the dates of 21st July and the 1st August. I think this whole thing will be pretty cool and give you something to do in July. Also if you are over fifteen you can recieve a qualification that is recognised by the EU for helping out with these guys.
As for the hungarians. They are great kids. They do speak English (although lack confidence) and aren't that much different to us. Granted they have cool accents and good names, like ATILLA and Dalmat, but they aren't much different than you guys.
I know that some of you have been frustrated that you weren't able to go to Hungary last year because you were too young but heres your oppurtunity to get involved with our sister church in Hungary.
Need to know numbers of how many of you can be involved pretty soon so get writing in this thread. Even if you have already said that you can do this to me at some other time, write it up here anyway.
